Good afternoon to all members of Court Grammar,

We have been at school today planning our start and having a Microsoft Team meeting with our staff to ensure everything is set for Monday and we are very excited indeed. But, as usual, I need to highlight some important points:

  1. All students are back on Monday. School staff will have masks on but not when they are teaching.
  2. All secondary students MUST have, and wear, a mask. We suggest you put your child's name on these. Primary school students DONOT need to wear a mask.
  3. Secondary students will NOT be allowed onto buses (public or private) unless they are wearing a mask. This is an official requirement for one week and not open to personal views.
  4. Secondary students will need a mask in class while a teacher is teaching and during recess and lunch this week. Please explain this requirement to your children as we are required to police it.
  5. They will not need it DURING Physical Education lessons and any other active lessons like Dance.
  6. The uniform shop will open at 7am on Monday for any purchases but not everyone can go in at the same time.
  7. All parents entering the school (and we have to keep this to a minimum this week) must be wearing a mask.
  8. Year 7 students are to meet outside the school Gym and will be met there by their teacher. Parents of our Year 7s who wish to come into the Gym with their children for a short while and meet staff are welcome to do so but we MUST limit this to ONE parent per student.
  9. New Year 8 -11 students will be met at the Gate by senior staff and Prefects and then assisted to their new classes
  10. New students in primary classes should proceed directly to the class they were taken to at their Orientation last year
  11. On Monday the kiss and drive must be used and this is merely a continuation of arrangements from last year. There are a group of Monday Pre-Kindy students due to start and they will arrive at 8.30 (after the traffic) and be permitted into their classes with their parents. More detailed information is being sent to them directly.
  12. The Canteen will be taking lunch orders as normal.
  13. Our Year 6 and Year 7 camps are planned to proceed as normal unless the situation changes.
  14. All Information evenings planned for this week are being moved forward by a week. You will get more information as the week progresses.
  15. At the present time I cannot advise you about other activities in the calendar but we hope they will all continue.

Warm regards and wishes,

Ms Patricia Rodrigues
