Marron Cup 2018

The 2018 Marron Cup was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all students from Pre-Kindergarten to year 12 this afternoon. The annual cricket competition commenced the race to win the 2018 Challenge Cup between the two houses, Whitby and Yarrabah.

The Primary School students enjoyed a range of activities throughout the afternoon including the sack race, water cup challenge, marble challenge and shooting hoops! The Secondary students then took the big stage commencing the after school cricket matches with year 7 & 8 students first off the bat.

Water slides, Mr Whippy Ice Cream, bouncy castles, face paint and a sausage sizzle from our wonderful P&F kept everyone entertained and fed while watching the cricket unfold.

A big thank you must go to the PE department for again organising a wonderful Marron Cup for the whole school to enjoy.

The winners of the Marron Cup will be announced at the next assembly...Will it be Whitby or Yarrabah?
