Water Wise in Year 1

The Year 1's had a visitor from the Water Corporation this week. We inquired water; where we get our water from and why it is important to be sensible with our water so we never run out. We had a look at some of our Australian dams and asked questions to enhance our knowledge of how much water can fit in a dam, how big can a dam be and why we use dams. We also completed an activity where we had to spot all the wasting water pictures and swap them with sensible ideas to save our water.
