Year 12 student receives Pierre de Coubertin award

Year 12 student, Kate Inglis-Hodge was presented with a Pierre de Coubertin award, an initiative of the Australian Olympic Committee,  for her outstanding contribution to sport and strong character and ideals on and off the field.

Kate, along with 33 other recipients attended the State Presentation Ceremony held in Perth on September 1. The students were invited to an Olympic Academy Day held prior to the presentation ceremony, which provided students with a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about leadership, goal setting and resilience for some of WA's Olympic heroes. The students also learnt about the Olympic movement and toured the Western Australian Institute of Sports high performance facility.
