Our Year 9 students had the amazing opportunity to design, create and build billy carts for Court Grammar School's inaugural Great Billy Cart Race. The stage was set for a lunch time race and students and teachers from all around the School flocked to see the action unfold. Racing to their carts, drivers whizzed past the crowd lining "the street", headed out the front gates, and around the buildings, putting their carts to the ultimate test.

After taking an early lead out the gates, Callum, Tighe and Chad held off the rest of the competition to cross the finish line first, taking the coveted winners trophy! All 3 were from Whitby and made their fellow House mates extremely proud.

The School was abuzz with excitement from the race and we already can't wait to see what next year's students produce.
