Today marked the very important event in our School calendar of our annual Sir Charles Court Futures Assembly. This assembly recognises the history of Sir Charles Court and his dedication to contributing to Western Australian society. We heard from orator Jake Branley, ex-student and Head Boy, Class of 2014, and Bendigo Bank Byford and Districts Community Branch Deputy Chair, who provided some amazing words of wisdom and encouragement to our student body.
This assembly sets the stage for the important task of presenting our Class of 2021, as well as honouring our student leaders for Primary and Secondary School who were presented with their badges identifying the portfolio they lead for the coming year. This is a wonderful achievement for students and they take on the responsibility with pride and dedication. We also get to acknowledge our Year 11 Peer Support Leaders who take on the task of inducting our Year 7 students into Secondary School and helping to ensure the traditions and values of our School are instilled in the next generation of students.
Adding to the pride of Court Grammar School, we were thrilled to present our new inductees of the 90's club. Members of this club have achieved the amazing result of 90 or higher in their ATAR ranking, placing them in the top 10% of students who sat ATAR exams throughout the country. This year, we had 3 students from our School who achieved this status, with 1 student achieving an outstanding 98.5! Our overall ATAR result was the highest ever since the commencement of our School, and the 3rd year running that we have beaten our previous highest ever rank. This shows the quality of learning at our School, and we are extremely proud of our students.
Please enjoy some of the photos from today's assembly.
