SJGS Students Riding to Represent WA

Four SJGS students have been selected to represent Western Australia at the 50^th National Polocrosse Championships being held at the State Equestrian Centre from October 1 – 7.

Tess May and Seamus Galvin (year 7) are part of the under 12's team with Tess also selected as team Captain and Seamus Vice Captain. Pippa May (year 9) is the Vice Captain of the Junior Girls Team and Krystina Hodgkinson secured a place in the Polocrosse Australia Association Mixed Junior Development Team. All four students not only attend SJGS together but play for the same local Polocrosse Club, Foothills, keeping a real sense of community.

All students have been through a selection process to secure their position attending multiple squad trainings and travelling as far north as Geraldton.

This is a fabulous achievement by these students and we wish them the best of luck in their preparation leading up to the week of competition!
