Wedding Bells in Year 2

In Year 2 RAVE (Religious and Values Education) our values-based lessons were focused upon kindness, sharing and love. The Religious aspect focused upon ceremonies which lead to the year 2 student putting this into practice and hosting the wedding of the term! Students learnt that a minister does not have to lead a ceremony, it does not have to happen in a church and that not everyone has to get married. The marriage was sealed with a funky handshake and the exchange of 'rings'. 

The wedding was a huge success with Parents, Grandparents and staff in attendance ushered in by the lovely year 2 Ushers!
